Daily structure for knee replacement recovery
How Healing Protocol works
Start with your surgery date. Use a daily plan to organize exercises, checklists, reminders, and your own recovery notes alongside your care team's guidance.
From your surgery date to your daily routine
-
Set your surgery date
Enter your knee replacement surgery date to create a recovery timeline. Your timeline updates automatically based on the date you enter.
-
Open your daily plan
Review the day's exercises, checklists, and reminders. Phase-based exercise videos provide educational demonstrations. Follow your surgeon's or physical therapist's instructions about which exercises to do and how to do them.
-
Check in and learn
Record pain, range of motion, mood, and stress. Use the educational content or ask recovery questions in Ask. Keep a record of the questions you want to discuss with your care team.
-
Return the next day
Open the next day's plan, review your reminders, and add another check-in. Keep using the app to organize your routine while your care team directs your recovery and exercise plan.
Keep everyday recovery details together
Alongside your daily plan, Healing Protocol gives you places to record the details you want to keep track of.
Daily check-ins
Log pain, range of motion, mood, and stress as your own record of how you are feeling.
Hydration, meals, and activity
Track hydration, meals, and activity to keep everyday habits organized.
Progress photos
Add progress photos as part of your personal recovery record.
Medication reminders
Enter medication names and set reminder times for your existing routine. Update reminder times as your schedule changes, following your clinician’s or pharmacist’s instructions.
Ask questions for general education
Ask is an AI feature for recovery questions and general educational information. Its responses may be inaccurate and should not guide medical decisions. Bring questions about symptoms, treatment, medication, or exercise suitability to your care team.
Healing Protocol supports organization, education, and reminders. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it does not replace physical therapy.
Before you get started
Who is Healing Protocol for?
Healing Protocol is for adults organizing their knee replacement recovery. Your care team remains responsible for directing your care and exercise plan.
Should I follow every exercise in the app?
Your surgeon or physical therapist should direct which exercises are appropriate for you. The daily plan and phase-based videos provide structure and education, not an individual clinical prescription.
